Privacy Personas in the MENA Region: A Large-Scale Analysis of 21 Countries

Facebook privacy grantBeginning January 2021, the APG Team is leading a digital privacy project funded via a research award from Facebook. We thank the researchers at Facebook for their interest in and support of this project.

The APG Team will be working with QCRI’s Arabic Language Technologies Group, the College of Computer Science and Engineering (HBKU), Northwestern Qatar, and the IT University of Copenhagen.
The project will examine digital privacy concerns in 21 MENA countries. The end product will be online personas of user segments based on social media privacy concerns.
Excited about the project and, again, thanks to Facebook Research for their support!
