working with a dynamic research team
https://quecst.qcri.org/team
The Qatar Computing Research Center (QCRI) invites applicants for the position of Research Scientist with expertise in data science. We especially welcome applications in machine
learning, data mining, data management, human-computer interaction, and information systems. However, a strong work ethic and passion for making an impact are more important than the academic discipline.
The responsibilities of a Scientist include researching the frontier of their discipline, fostering research collaboration and technology transfer with end-users of data systems, community outreach, and service to the discipline. Additional responsibilities may include interacting with industry partners and applying for research grants. There are no teaching responsibilities.
Candidates must have a Ph.D. in computer science, information science, online marketing, or a related discipline and have work experience beyond their Ph.D. Fresh Ph.D. graduates with an exceptional publication record may also be considered. All candidates must have a track record of publishing in top-tier conferences and journals.
